LOCAL MOVING - MELBOURNE METRO

• We work on an hourly rate, which does not include insurance. Higher rates apply for weekends & public holidays or after normal working hours. We don’t have extra charges for moving pianos, billiard tables or if you’re moving to an upstairs residence.
• We charge from the time the truck leaves our depot in Preston to when the truck gets back to the depot. We estimate how long it would take to get back from the delivery address to our depot. The driver will work out the bill and give you a receipt after we have packed up all our equipment.
• Payment is CASH ONLY. We have a minimum 2 hour hire. After 2 hours we charge for every 15 minutes. The clock doesn’t stop if we are kept waiting around for any reason.
• If we have to keep the furniture on the truck overnight, due to an unforseen problem, you will incur additional charges for redelivery, or it may have to go into a storage facility at your expense.

NOTE: If you are buying a property – it is not a good idea to move in on settlement day. In our experience, we have found that it can become a big problem if the legal paperwork is not in order.



COUNTRY VICTORIA MOVING
A fixed quoted price for moving will be given over the phone, which does not include insurance. We will only come out to look at the furniture to make sure it will fit in the truck, if you have accepted the price and want us to do the move. Payment is CASH ONLY, to be paid to the driver when the truck is loaded - a receipt will then be given to you at the pickup address. If moving over 300kms, the truck will leave the next day. If moving under 300kms, same day pickup and delivery - someone must be at the delivery address. If no one is at the delivery address - you will have to pay an extra fee for redelivery.



INTERSTATE MOVING
A fixed quoted price will be given over the phone for interstate capital cities and country towns, which does not include insurance. We don't work on cubic metres or wait around for a full truck load. Once the truck is loaded with your furniture - it will leave the next day. We will only come out to look at the furniture, to make sure it will fit on the truck, if you have accepted the price and want us to do the move. Payment is CASH ONLY, to be paid to the driver when the truck is loaded - a receipt will then be given to you at the pickup address. Someone must be at the delivery address - if no one is at the delivery address you will have to pay an extra fee for redelivery.
